9. Perform Setup (at least System, Printer, and Network Setup) to reconﬁgure the printer with

the updated software.

The software update is a large, downloadable ﬁle. You can also update the system software:

• from the NetWare PCONSOLE utility, if you are using an IPX (Novell) network

• from the Colorwriter LSR Downloader

In either case, ﬁrst enable the direct connection. After the ﬁle has been downloaded, cycle

power to the printer and complete steps 8 and 9.

NOTE:

Printers conﬁgured with less than 32MB memory do not support the

Colorwriter LSR Downloader.
