Replacement Procedures and

Ribbon Hub
Removal
1. Prepare the printer for maintenance (page 4–2).
2. Remove the printer ribbon.
3. Loosen the #2 Phillips screw in the ribbon spool hub (page 5–69,
Figure 5–15).
4. Remove the hub from the shaft of the ribbon drive motor.
Installation
1. Install the ribbon spool hub over the motor shaft (page 5–61,
Figure 5–11).
2. Tighten the hub screw so that it contacts the flat section of the motor
shaft.
3. Return the printer to normal operation (page 4–3).
